This was Friday - Day 4 of the Collection at St.Mary of the Isle, Long Beach, New York. Pallets outside were wrapped and ready for loading. As supplies were being packed and loaded at the front entrance, more supplies kept coming in the back door. Hundreds of people and children came to join in this humanitarian effort that will be remembered for years to come.
Your support and contributions of any size will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions following natural disasters.
A CHRISTIAN LESPERANCE PRODUCTION:
Texas was devastated by Hurricane Harvey. People were searching for a tangible way to help. Waves Of Hope USA was created as a way to remedy the lost feeling of charitable giving and volunteering. People overwhelmingly came together to help others in an unconventional way. WOH USA created a community event for donations and hand delivered it directly to the people it was intended for. Along the way WOH created a documentary of the experience. This is what we do.
This is a musical photographic journey of our our time with Hurricane Sandy in 2012. It was because of this experience in Long Beach, New York we felt the need to pay it forward by reaching out to others in need following natural disasters. In doing so we found out the entire community had the same need to give and really enjoyed seeing how their donations went directly into the hands that needed them.
